The IG-541 fire extinguishing system, also known as the mixed gas fire extinguishing system, is a new type of gas fire extinguishing system that has developed in recent years. The relatively new technology is the "green" and environmentally friendly fire extinguishing system. The three main components of the IG-541 fire extinguishing system are all basic atmospheric components. Returning to nature after use is a green fire extinguishing agent and an ideal substitute for halon fire extinguishing agents.

Characteristics
1.1G541 fire extinguishing agent is a pure "green" clean fire extinguishing agent that is colorless, odorless, non-toxic, and non-conductive.
2. Combination distribution, remote pressure conveying, suitable for large spaces and able to protect protected areas from long distances, with a conveying distance of up to 150m. 3.1G541 gas cylinders are fixed and installed in specific gas cylinder rooms, without occupying any protective zone space.

Application scenarios
The IG541 gas fire extinguishing system can be applied in places with frequent human presence, high-precision electronic instruments, valuable equipment rooms, and other high-value collection institutions and important places. It is suitable for extinguishing Class A, B, C fires and Class E electrical fires, such as electronic computer rooms, power dispatch centers, museums, cultural relics museums, high-speed railways, airports, banks, and other places.

Fire extinguishing principle
IG541 is a mixture of nitrogen (52%), gas (40%), and carbon dioxide (8%) in the atmosphere. The fire extinguishing mechanism is to release the extinguishing agent, which will reduce the oxygen concentration in the protected area to below 12.5% that can support combustion in a short period of time. In an oxygen concentration environment that does not meet the combustion conditions, fire extinguishing is achieved, and there is no harm to personnel staying in the protected area for a short time. It is a purely physical action method of extinguishing the fire.
After the IG541 gas fire extinguishing agent is sprayed, it will not form thick fog that affects the field of view, which is conducive to escape. In addition, workers in the protective area can still breathe normally, making it easier to extinguish fires in a timely manner and reducing losses. The temperature change during spraying is minimal and will not cause secondary damage to the equipment in the protected area.
