The external pressure storage heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system is different from the traditional internal pressure storage heptafluoropropane gas fire extinguishing system (4.2MPa). The power gas used to transport the fire extinguishing agent is stored separately in a dedicated power gas cylinder group. After the system is started, the power gas is released, and after being depressurized by a pressure reducing device, it enters the fire extinguishing agent cylinder group, pushing the fire extinguishing agent to reach the protected area through the fire extinguishing agent delivery pipeline for fire extinguishing.
Characteristics
1. The transportation distance of fire extinguishing agents can reach over 200 meters, suitable for long-distance transportation and large space protection areas;
2. The smaller diameter of the conveying pipeline can reduce pipeline investment;
3. The nozzle inlet pressure is relatively high, which improves the atomization effect of the fire extinguishing agent, shortens the spraying time, and improves the fire extinguishing efficiency;
In general, the original Halon 1301 pipeline network and equipment room can be used to facilitate the renovation of the Halon 1301 system.
Application scenarios
This fire extinguishing equipment is widely used and effective in extinguishing the following fires: Class A - Solid fire: refers to solid material fires, which often have organic properties and generally produce scorching residues during combustion, such as wood, coal, cotton, wool, hemp, paper, and other fires.
Class B - Liquid fires: liquid fires and fires caused by melting solid substances, such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, crude oil, methanol, ethanol, asphalt, paraffin, and other fires.
Class C - Gas fires: Gas fires such as coal gas, natural gas, methane, ethane, propane, hydrogen, etc.
Class E - Electrical equipment that cannot be powered off in a timely manner or is not suitable for live fire extinguishing, such as generator rooms, transformer rooms, distribution rooms, instrument rooms, and electronic computer rooms.
Not suitable for extinguishing the following fires:
Class D fire - Metal fire, such as potassium, sodium, magnesium, titanium, zirconium, lithium, aluminum magnesium alloy, etc.
Fire extinguishing principle
The external pressure storage heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system adopts a fully submerged fire extinguishing method. According to the requirements of different application areas, it can form a unit independent system combination distribution system to achieve fire protection for single and multiple protection zones. The system has three start-up modes: automatic, manual, and mechanical emergency operation.
Composition and system composition of external pressure storage heptafluoropropane equipment
The external pressure storage heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system (4.2MPa) consists of a bottle assembly frame, a fire extinguishing agent bottle assembly, a power gas cylinder assembly, a pressure reducing device, a high-pressure hose, a one-way valve (fire extinguishing agent pipeline), a collection pipe, a safety release device, a selection valve, a signal feedback device, a fire extinguishing agent delivery pipeline, a nozzle, a driving gas cylinder assembly, an electromagnetic driving device, a driving gas pipeline, a one-way valve (driving gas pipeline), etc. It is an intelligent automatic fire extinguishing system.
